This art quilt was the first item in a live auction at the Bohemian Ball,
which is held annually to benefit Hospice of the Comforter in Orlando,
Florida. It was made entirely from home decorator fabrics and trims
which were also donated. It is resplendent with embroidery, metallic
threads, sequins, beading, ribbons and buttons. It is exquisitely
finished with rope trim.
"Every Day Is A Gift" was the theme of the ball.
Made in the Victorian style of the Crazy Quilt, this quilt raised almost
$1000 for this worthwhile charity. See close up images below:
